Ajax will face Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok in the play-offs for the Europa League group stages.

The first leg will be played in Bialystok on August 20th, with the second leg taking place in Amsterdam on August 27th.

Ajax will be looking to secure their place in the group stages of the Europa League for the third season in a row.

The Dutch giants have won the competition once, in 1992.

Jagiellonia Bialystok are making their debut in the Europa League group stages.

The Polish side finished third in the Ekstraklasa last season.

Ajax will be confident of progressing to the group stages, but Jagiellonia Bialystok will be no pushovers.

The Polish side have already eliminated two teams from the competition this season, including Greek giants AEK Athens.

The winners of the tie will progress to the group stages of the Europa League.

The draw for the group stages will be held on August 31st.
